As we come together during this month of Ramadan, to attend our communal iftars and nightly prayers, remember those who are not standing alongside you, and not partaking in those delicious meals. Islam is the fastest growing religion behind bars, and while we are estatic to welcome newcomers as our brothers and sisters, our hearts yearn to be able to provide them with the Ramadan traditions we enjoy. At the very least, Muslims behind bars deserve the tools to practice the basics of their religion. They deserve a copy of the Quran, a clean prayer rug for sujood, and a headscarf for their heads. Through our Muslim Prisoner Support Project, that is what you can gift them until Allah reunited us! 

When you donate to MSPS, we send copies of the Quran, prayer rugs, headscarves, Islamic books, and more to prisons who request these items for their inmates. Our suppliers abide by the strict prison rules regarding mail, and are able to send these items directly to the people that need them most.
