Palestine Trip: Reflections from the No Bans, No Walls Delegation

Date published: Mon, 17 September 18

A few weeks ago an interfaith delegation from all across the United States took a trip to Palestine to witness and learn what is happening on the ground. It was a group of about 20 individuals including our very own communications director Rameez Abid.

The delegation was called No Bans, No Walls and explored the realities of life in Palestine/Israel, studied the travel and access restrictions, settlements, occupation, and sought to understand the Wall and its associated regime of physical and legal barriers, and connected with Palestinians and Israelis working for peace with justice. You can view some pictures and more information from the delegation by clicking here.

Last week, a few members from the delegation came to our CSJ office in the Metro DC area and shared their experiences in an hour long webinar. The discussion is full of many gems and lessons of what’s happening in Palestine and why we must stand up for justice in the Holy Land. You can view the whole webinar below. Unfortunately, due to some technical difficulties the last 20 min or so are cut off.
