ICNA CSJ condemns the Trump Administration’s current policy of separating children from their parents crossing the southern border. While it is important to implement a viable border security, we believe using parental fear of losing their child as a deterrent, is inhumane and immoral by any standards.

ICNA demands President Trump to immediately put a stop to this barbaric practice. Furthermore ICNA urges the White house to stop blocking funds meant for the Office of Refugee Resettlement which are distributed to organizations providing legal representation to these children. Without these services the children end up separated from their parents for months and years.

ICNA also appeals everyone to support the organizations helping these children with generous donations and to volunteer. We also encourage everyone to participate in local rallies happening around the country on June 30th. To find a local rally in your area on June 30th, please click here.
