  • Participated as a speaker at The World Alliance of Religions for Peace program entitled The Components of Holy Scripture at American University in Washington, D.C.
  • Participated in the 2016 DC Interfaith Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C.
  • Participated as a speaker at The World Alliance of Religions for Peace program entitled The Origins of One’s Religion at American University in Washington, D.C.
  • Participated in the Jewish-Muslim Stoop Storytelling Workshop in Baltimore, MD
  • Participated in the NRCAT Interfaith Gathering: Growing the Movement to End Torture in Arlington, VA
  • Participated in the annual ISNA Interfaith Dinner in Arlington, VA

2015

2014

  • Organized and planned interfaith dialogue at the 2014 ICNA-MAS Convention in Baltimore, MD.
  • Participated in the Muslim-Catholic Dialogue in NJ on topic of Secularism in the WhyIslam building.
    • Invited all of the Muslim speakers via phone and e-mail and organized their trip schedules.
  • Participated in an interfaith meeting hosted by Religions for Peace USA in Washington, D.C.
  • Participated in an interfaith dialogue on Concept of Peace in Religious Texts at the Church of Scientology in Washington, D.C.

2012

  • Mid-Atlantic Catholic Muslim Dialogue:
    • A two day meeting with US Congress of Catholic Bishops took place in Washington, D.C.
    • National Plenary meeting was held in Chicago, where USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) and Muslim Leadership met.
  • Christian Muslim Initiative: ICNA is a co-chair, it meets twice a year to discuss issues of concern.
  • Religions for Peace – USA: ICNA is an Executive Member of RFP – USA. The group meets twice a year and two conference calls were held this year.
  • Faith into Action: Participated with Religions for Peace USA in Louisville, KY.
  • Miriam’s Kitchen: An interfaith kitchen which provides daily meals to homeless in D.C. Every 2nd Monday our volunteers helped in the feeding.
